Pedestal is a glass pedestal that becomes a sculptural object in its own right. A solid block of clear glass has been hand-faceted on a flatbed grinder, with each cut made with precision and attention to detail.

While it references the traditional idea of a pedestal, the work challenges its role — here, the base becomes the piece. As light hits the surface, the facets reflect and refract, scattering rainbow-colored glimmers throughout the space.
