Unfiltered · Standing
A sculptural composition made from recycled glass shards – each with its own shape, edge, and history. As with the rest of the Unfiltered series, no two pieces are alike. The unpredictability of the material becomes part of the expression. The form is created in a focused moment, where movement, intuition, and resistance meet in a spontaneous act.
Solid turns to liquid – and back again. The transformation holds both control and surrender. The organic lines are not designed in advance, but grow from the process itself. The surface bears subtle marks of the encounter between glass, gravity, and gesture – like a frozen trace of movement.
The sculpture is mounted on a faceted glass pedestal, ground and polished as part of the work. The pedestal does not just carry the piece – it becomes part of the composition, reflecting and amplifying the tension between weight and lightness.
The overall form invites close attention. It holds a quiet complexity – both raw and refined, precise and bodily. Something seems to stretch upward, while at the same time grounding itself in stillness.
